Alexia Williams is an award-winning journalist, researcher and educator who proudly serves as Miss Hanover County. She is the founder of S.T.A.R. — Successful Training of Adult Responsibilities, a personal development initiative designed to equip young adults with the essential skills needed to navigate adulthood with confidence and purpose.

A summa cum laude graduate of Liberty University, Alexia earned her degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Communication and Theater Arts, alongside minors in Business, Criminal Justice and Digital Media Arts. She currently works as a prime-time anchor and reporter for CBS19 News, ABC16 and FOX Virginia, and has reported live nationally for FOX News Channel.

Alexia’s academic and professional excellence has been recognized through her selection as a research presenter by Harvard University, NURVA and Liberty University, where she received the department’s only Outstanding Research Achievement Award. Beyond journalism, she is a seasoned performer who toured nationally, performed on Carnival Cruise Lines and sang the National Anthem on ESPN.

Coming from a family with seven generations of military service, Alexia is deeply passionate about honoring veterans and military families. She has worked alongside the U.S. Navy as a reporter and continues to advocate for recognition and appreciation of those who serve.

Looking ahead, Alexia plans to pursue a Juris Doctor degree and become a legal correspondent, combining investigative reporting with legal expertise. As Miss Hanover County, she is committed to using her voice, platform and experience to prepare the next generation for success both personally and professionally.
